I just had a question for the Vocal Auditions. For our auditions, do we need to prepare the song that is suggested underneath the role we are auditioning for, or do we need to have a separate song apart from that one? Thank You, Alexis
I'm the director, so here's the official word. I recommend that you prepare a song that best showcases your talent. Performing a song from Little Mermaid won't increase your chances at getting a specific part in any way. Also, some of the Little Mermaid songs won't specifically demonstrate how talented your are, so don't feel stuck on Little Mermaid songs--just pick any song that really lets your voice shine!
